Workshop 2014
7-9 October 2014, Hull, UK

Twenty-six scientists from six nations (Germany, U.K., Switzerland, Italy, France and the Netherlands) participated in the 4th SCOPSCO-workshop in Hull, UK. They read up on the latest results of core opening and documentation as well as the first analysis files. The scientists discussed the planning for 2015 including the publication strategy.

Workshop 2013
11-13 September 2013, Pisa, Italy

We conduct a SCOPSCO-workshop in Pisa, in order to invite all scientists involved into the project and to discuss in detail the sampling strategy, scientific work to be carried out and the publication strategy of the results.

Workshop 2008
13-17 October 2008, City of Ohrid, Macedonia

Under the auspices of the ICDP, on 13-17 October 2008 a workshop was held on the Scientific Collaboration On Past Speciation Conditions in Lake Ohrid (SCOPSCO) in the city of Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia. Thirty-four scientists from eleven nations (Macedonia, Albania, Germany, Italy, U.K., Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, France and U.S.A.) participated in the workshop.

The SCOPSCO workshop was hosted by the Hydrobiological Institute in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia, and funded by the International Continental Scientific Drilling Program (ICDP) and the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia.

Workshop 2005
14-16 December 2005, Leipzig, Germany

Twenty-four scientists from seven nations (Macedonia, Switzerland, France, Italy, U.K., China, Germany) accepted the invitation from Dr. Bernd Wagner und Prof. Dr. Martin Melles to Lake Ohrid Workshop in december 2005 at the institute of geophysical und geology at the University of Leipzig, Germany.

The result of this meeting was the first intensiv information exchange between the actually research projects in Germany and the further geological und biological results of the international cooperation partners.
